Enter body measurements
Start with measurable inputs such as chest circumference, shoulder width, and torso length.
Online size charts show numbers. FitMeasure helps shoppers understand them—by comparing body measurements with garment dimensions and turning the difference into clear, visual fit insights.
Independent, self-funded project · Exploring a new approach to online clothing fit
“Size M” is different from brand to brand. We believe shoppers need a more interpretable way to understand garment fit before checkout.
Start with measurable inputs such as chest circumference, shoulder width, and torso length.
Use the garment's flat measurements or size chart, rather than relying on a size label alone.
Compare dimensions, identify potential fit concerns, and visualize proportions with clear uncertainty notes.
This initial demo compares garment and body chest measurements. A more complete fit model is under development.
The garment has 12 cm more chest circumference than your body measurement.
The shirt's shoulder-to-hem measurement is 6 cm longer than the body reference.
What this meansPositive ease indicates room, but cannot by itself determine comfort, silhouette, or true fit.
Important: This is a measurement comparison, not a validated body simulation or a personalized size recommendation. Fabric stretch, pattern construction, body shape, movement, and preferred fit are not modeled yet.
Compare the dimensions of a shirt you like with a shirt you want to buy. This removes the need to infer comfort from body dimensions alone.
Enter measurements of the shirt you already own and the one you are considering.
Scaled *schematically* using width and length inputs only. Neckline, sleeves, shoulders, fabric drape and actual fit are not modeled. Drawings are not a photo-realistic try-on.
FitMeasure is an independently funded, early-stage software concept. We are currently working toward a web-based MVP focused on explainable fit estimations, beginning with casual tops.
Current stage: self-funded, founder-led, pre-MVP prototype. Preparing for early user validation.
We're looking for early feedback from people who have trouble judging fit from online clothing size charts. Get in touch to share your experience or learn about the prototype.
